Your options for gear stores near the North Stanislaus are fairly limited, but Pacific River Supply and the recently-opened Sierra Nevada Adventure Co. are both great places to pick up things you need for your North Stanislaus river trip.

Raft Tip

The North Stan is a pretty technical, narrow canyon, so smaller boats are usually better. A 12 to 15 foot raft is ideal.
